Anthrax Thread?!

Another b*llsh*t Connex train service, I just can't believe delays have become so often now that passengers will have to get use to it. As I walked towards the office, traffic cones have completely blocked the junction and nearby traffic was assisted by 2 cops. Further ahead, I saw all Decipha staff standing impatiently outside the building...hmm...tapes surrounded the building entrance allowing only authorised officers within the parameter. First thought in mind was some homicide must have taken place, I've always wanted to see some Crime Scene Investigation!! Except that there weren't people terrified or in trauma... Then I saw the Scientific Unit and Response Unit squads, we were told they are still waiting for another special unit to arrive.



A few minutes after, I only found out that some mail sorters found themselves in a International terror biological attack situation. They found white powder in a couple of sealed envelopes and the next thing was people have been evacuated from the building except 10 of the staff whom may be contaminated by the suspicious powder which had assumed to be Anthrax.


An hour has gone by before 3 of the special unit officers dressed up as the "bubble men" and completed with the oxygen mask, 2 layers of safety suits and gloves just like you see on the telly! cool! Already a few people taking out their camera phones capturing the action (included myself) LOL!!

After a couple hours of wait, we were finally allowed to go back in the building...the authority had confirmed that the powder is not the infamous Anthrax but yet another unidentified contaminated substance. They were soon sealed and taken to the labs for further investigation.

Others with little concern about the whole incident finally came back after 3 rounds of coffee breaks! Nice one!
