2006 came and went...

...all I had done was worked and played badminton..

On the bright side, I have achieved all things which I thought impossible when I first stepped onto a foreign soil - a student and no money, as much as my parents wanted me to start my career in Malaysia I was adamant to start a new life in Australia and never look back.

First 4 years had been tough, graduating in IT was my gateway to settle in Australia. Working 2 odd jobs, getting paid $8/hr just to save $3000 for my residency application. Being such an impatient person, I almost broke down and quit - struggling with debts and rude people wasn't that easy..and other unfortunates..well, reality is absolutely no fairy tale.

My 5th and 6th year have been a blessing, left the unfriendly bunch of housemates in Footscray and residency in Australia approved plus got a much much better job was a bonus - a highlight of my life really...

BUT what the hell...I've been complaining about work since last year....frustrated, it's good that 2006 came and went because I didn’t achieve much...lets hope 2007 will create me a fresh and exciting chapter of life.
